I graduated 2 years ago but applied through GRB as I had been living abroad since then. I was also dealing with some other recruitment agencies at the same time and couldn't have been more impressed by GRB, they were easily the best.

They actually listened to what I was looking for rather than trying to make me fit into roles they already had available, and they were on hand at every stage of the process. Plus every single person I spoke to there was super friendly and very helpful.

I am a recent philosophy graduate, currently in the application process for graduate schemes in the financial advisory sector. Having worked with another graduate recruitment company, there were a couple points that made GRB stand out in particular:

(1) GRB makes an effort to ensure that the interests of the recruit match the role, besides making sure that the recruit matches the interests of the particular company

(2) During the screening process, recruiters at GRB always have an insightful conversation with you, rather than conducting a blunt question/answer interview. If you do not pass the screening, they will tell you why they think you do not fit to the role, rather than giving you a form response along the lines of 'since we had so many good applications, we cannot continue with yours'

(3) If you make an appointment for a telephone call they will call on time. This is something there competitors struggle with. It makes the application process easier since you can mentally prepare for the conversation, rather than nervously waiting for a late call.

(4) They spend more time getting to know you. You get the chance to build a relationship with one of their recruiters.

(5) If an application is unsucessful, they will get feedback from the company, discuss it with you and proceed to send you new oppertunities.

In short, they do everything that a motivated graduate could wish for.

After a review of my CV, with recommended improvements, I attended interviews for a few interesting IT positions GRB found for me. Eventually I found a role that should suit me well.
