The Course Is A Pointless Excuse To Charge People
The course is a pointless excuse to charge people even when they cancel, breaking their own supposed terms. To my kind a sham that should be investigated and shut down. Report made to trading standards.

Worst Course Ever!
I called regent academy last year to enquire about a course to become a wedding celebrant. I did 3 modules which took some time to do but I did sign up to do this at my own pace as I’m a busy funeral celebrant and funeral director. I’m already a qualified funeral celebrant, have been for over 10 years which I made very clear to Regent. They lied when they told me this was the correct course to go on. When I was given the modules it went over everything but weddings. I made enquires as to why nothing was covered re weddings when this was the only reason I had spent over £500 for the course. I wanted ideas on wording for ceremonies and different ideas on wedding vows etc and I kid you not, they asked me to google it! I made an official complaint and said all I want is my money back. I was asked to provide this request in an email, expecting them to do the right thing, and they’ve declined my request. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
In response to this student’s review;
At the point of initial enquiry the student informed our advisor that they were a qualified funeral celebrant and enquired whether our course covered weddings and asked if they could forgo the units relating to funerals. It was clearly explained to the student that they would have to complete all elements of the course in order to gain certification. The advisor also went over the course contents and specified that 3 of the 8 units were specific to funerals.
Prior to enrolling this student was also sent a link to our website course page which breaks down the entire syllabus unit by unit – a copy of this syllabus is also provided in the initial unit of the course materials, this is so students can see what the upcoming elements of the course within their 14 day cooling off period.
At the point of this review being written the student has only been in receipt of 4 out of 8 units.
We take all complaints very seriously and have thoroughly investigated this student’s complaint. Having reviewed our call logs and other correspondence, we feel the student was advised correctly in relation to her enquiries and we were unable to action a refund on this occasion as study progression has taken place and course service (including tutorial) has been provided. The student is also over 12 months out of their cooling off period.
We often encourage our students to do additional research to support their studies and advise this via extra reading through books or online.
We regret that this student feels this way and maintain our original advice that this course will equip its learners with the skills they need to become a practicing Civil Celebrant. We remain happy to continue this student’s remaining course units.

The Worst Online Course You Can Get
They just have no idea what they’re doing. They forget to send new lessons and new assignments, they forget what review they have given, they asks things that are in a next lessons, you have not yet studied, it take 1-2 month to get the review, and they ask to send pictures of the review they given. That is literally the worst experience in my life, useless and not advisable at all. I wasted a year and a half with them. Horrible

Nightmare
What a joke. You send assignments in by recorded post and they claim you haven't. If you use these guys email stuff in so you have a record. Oh and if you are hoping to get a qualification quickly you are out of luck. Rather than acknowledging the company made an admin error and sent me the wrong thing... tried to make me justify why I wasn't a liar. Horrible experience!
In response to above reviewer’s comment; firstly we would like to apologise that this student feels she has had a negative interaction whilst communicating with our office. We pride ourselves on customer care and this is not the experience we expect our students to receive. Following these comments we will undertake an internal review and carry out further staff training where necessary. We have since resolved this individual’s queries and understand that they are happy to continue with their studies.

Excellent Online Study Courses
I have studied with the Regent Academy and their courses are excellent. The staff and tutors are always at the end of the phone or email and being able to take advantage of their study grant has meant that I could spread the cost of my course over 10 months. Thank you to the Regent Academy for such a smooth and pleasant student experience.

Avoid At All Costs
They send a lesson module each time you send an assignment, each time it takes a month.
I started in September (if not august) and still at lesson 2, waiting their review and new module since middle of December.
The course is extremely basic and doesn’t teach anything that an amateur photographer doesn’t already know.
Definitely not worth the money, there are much cheaper courses than this one with much better content
As said above, the excuse is always that because of the pandemics much as they know it can frustrating for students they don’t have all teachers available and this is slowing down the process, I’m glad to hear this is not your case, but it is mine.
Also, I have not idea what course you’re on, but the photography is honestly the most basic you could ever take, doesn’t give any great value, there are online courses for £10 that give you the same informations.
I paid £145 to my local college for a photography “basic” course and I have learned so much, started and finished in two months.
I’m glad you have been treated well, but for me has been a waste of money
Well, as said already above, with me they’re finding the excuse of the pandemic to say that teacher are not always available and as much as they know this is frustrating there is not much they can do, however reading from you now that pandemic didn’t affect their way to work, so as suspected, it’s all about the money, thanks for confirming to me.
And by the way, I don’t know which course you did, but the photography one is so basic and doesn’t give value for the money spent.
I had a photography “basic” course at my local college, paid £145 (with regent is around £500) and learn so much more.
Definitely think I have waste my money
It seems right, we can’t all afford the full payment, but if you like to know, I finish my payment two months ago and we’re still on module 4, each time I email them they reply telling they know how frustrating can be for students, but from the pandemic not all teacher are available and each time I’m waiting a month to get response, at the point that I had a physical course at the college where I live and lost all the enthusiasm (together with my money with this people).
I’m glad you could pay on full and your experience is completely different, but if an academy gives the chance of payment plans for us “poor people” should not treat us completely differently, but I’m sure you don’t think this way
I must also add that my assignments have been marked and returned to me by post very quickly despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The service I have received from the Regent Academy has been second to none.
It sounds like this person paid their course fees by using a monthly payment plan. I am a Regent Academy student and I receive the next assignment when the monthly fee has been paid. There is nothing wrong with this and I feel it is only fair as by paying with instalments you haven’t paid for the course in full so shouldn’t receive all of the modules upfront. I have nothing but praise for this college.

Successful Photography
I enrolled onto the Successful Photography Diploma course in August 2017 by distance learning. I found the course sometimes challenging but enjoyable along the journey doing the different projects and assignments. I gained a lot of knowledge, improved my photographic skills and became more professional, confident, assertive and was rewarding. My tutor, gave me positive feed back and coached me throughout the course. I completed the course this summer 2021. I received my Results and certificate in the post in early August 2021, I was really delighted when I was awarded a Distinction in my Diploma in Successful Photography. I really can recommend Regent Academy and glad that I chose this learning provider, you get expert tuition from their written lessons and assignments.

Interior Design
I have completed the successful interior design course which I found to be interesting and a very good course , I gained a lot of knowledge and found the home study course excellent in so many ways ...not only in learning but having the freedom to do it in my spare time and at home as I work full time . The course itself is very informative and guides you through each assignment with the added bonus of your tutor to help if and when needed. Since doing the course I feel more confident And want to learn more which is why I am now doing the professional interior design course.
The Best Academy
I have thoroughly enjoyed my course and would recommend to anyone very helpful .

I Love My Course!
I really enjoy studying event and wedding planning! I love the support and feedback from my tutors. And if I need any help I only have to email or pick up the phone and all is fixed.
Best decision I made going with regency academy and it's a fair price i paid.
I love that they understood that I couldn't pay up in one go and set up a direct debit as well. And if any problems occur for whatever reason they always ring to check everything is OK.
