Do Not Ever Use Victor Valentine.
Do Not Ever consider trusting Victor Valentine with providing suits for your wedding day!! Two days prior to my wedding,the person I dealt with at Victor Valentine informed me he could not provide the tailored suits I had paid for months previously. He is completely unprofessional and unreliable. The owner, is not a tailor himself and I take strong issue with the claim his company is 'perfect for weddings'. I do not want anyone else to go through the experience I went through so close to the big day. Do NOT use Victor Valentine. (Oh, and I had to chase him for my money back - for which there was no compensation nor any offer of one.)

Atrocious In Every Way
I would advise anyone and everyone to stay as far away from Victor Valentine as you can, and spend your money somewhere you can get a half decent suit and customer service.
I ordered a suit from Victor Valentine over four months ago. I required it for an event around Christmas time, but despite frequent messages and emails assuring me it would arrive soon, it did not get to me until the beginning of February! This despite it being advertised as "ready for immediate despatch" When I bought it.
The trouble didn't end there. The suit did not fit in the slightest - all the measurements on the labels were correct but that didn't translate in the fabric. The chest was far too large, sleeves were almost at my elbow, and trousers loose and draping on the floor. Add to this the poor quality of seams, and I sent this cobbled together tent back straight away for a full refund.
It has now been over a month since returning it, and still no refund. It is a substantial amount of money I am waiting on, and despite assurances the refund will be imminent, not a penny has been received by me.
The suits are poor quality, and the service is even worse. I will never be dealing with this company again, I advise you to do the same.
Don't Order Made To Measure Suits
I ordered two suits to be made to measure 20 days quoted , so i should have received mid January, it is now end of February and no sign of the suits,
Yesterday I went to the shop, they were full of apologies ,
I was refunded my @400.00 deposit, with a promise that i would get the suit one day
I have since looked at the reviews for this company, and see this is a long standing on going problem
so my advice id do not order from this company,
I have to say the ready made suits look amazing quality, just shame about the service
For Now Beware I Have No Order Promised Over 2 Weeks Ago,
I ordered two made to measure suits back in December, and paid a large deposit of £400.00 , and was advised that the suits would be ready in 20 days, Ie about January the 10th,
It is now the end of January, i have called the number many times with no answer, and i have mailed on two occasions, once to cancel my order and request a refund of deposit, As one of the events i ordered a suit for has passed, so i had to go else where to buy a ready made suit, and it is the same situation for another event this weekend, I sent another mail yesterday, again requesting back my deposit, and so far they have been silent, and still not answering the phone,
at best this is very bad service , at worst i am not sure if the company is still trading,
They have made excuses about the email address is not connected at the shop, but this was weeks ago,
My advice for the time being, is not to order and pay on line, until you have made contact, and have assurances they have the sale stock and are still trading,
I have already advised if i am not refunded with in 14 days, Then i will take proceedings to recover my deposit,
It is sad i have to go to these lengths with such a company with great products,

No Service
I ordered some of V V's clearance items from their website with hopes of providing my son a nice suit for prom, but I never received the items ordered. I had one response from an email which never resulted in receiving my items. Any other communication was never responded to. Therefore since I never received the suit items, I can't comment on the quality of the product, but the customer service was next to nothing. When I tried to communicate through PayPal(after many personal attempts), there was no response. I was glad PayPal helped me to get my money back. I wish I had read more reviews. If there was a problem with how I ordered or my order in general, I would love to have heard from them to hear their needs and make decisions regarding the purchase. I cannot recommend this company.
Suit Different Colour
sent for a suit for a wedding took 6weeks to come jacket to small waist coat to small trousers to small and it doesn't look like the suit I ordered it was a lot darker
Our apologies for the slight delay in getting your suit to you. We generally are able to tailor our suits within 30 days but during our recent promotion we experienced an exceptional level of orders and our turn around times slipped slightly. All of our suits are individually hand made to order. They are not mass machine made. What suit had you ordered? We can easily make adjustments or remake the suit for you free of charge. It is all part of he service.

Don't Bother
I ordered what looked to be a really nice three piece suit at £500 in a dark blue tweed from their website to go to a wedding.
After chasing it numerous times and given lots of excuses it arrived and the waistcoat was 3" small on the chest and it was a completely different colour and tweed pattern.
I sent it back and they moved the buttons 1/2" over so it still didn't fit. Sent it back again to be told they had no material left to fix it, so didn't have a suit to wear to the wedding.
They offered to replace it so I chose another one I liked which only cost £300. No money was given back and was told I could keep the original suit which was now a two piece as the waistcoat had been lost.
The suit is still hung up, never worn and probably never will.
£200 out of pocket.
You have kept the original fully functional 2 piece suit (worth £400 without the waistcoat) and we made a full 3 piece replacement free of charge as compensation (worth £300).
We would be absolutely more than happy to provide a free complementing waistcoat that would work with the original suit. We have plenty of solid colours that would work very well.

It is nice to finally to have a reply based on the fact that I have tired contacting you several times, perhaps the light of publicity concerns you.
Your reasoning and reply is ill founded based on what would appear to be several lies or lack of linking past excuses given.
My original suit, ordered from a picture advertised on your website looked totally different to the suit that was received.
Strangely the excuse given was the suit advertised had been replaced with a new material.
If this was the case why is it that when the waistcoat was returned due to being 3” smaller than that the size ordered did you say there was no more material to make a new waistcoat. A little odd that you ran of the new material within a month of the release.
Yes correct you did reply and produce a new suit to compensate, however at no stage did you state that the difference between the ordered suit of £500 and the replacement of £300 would not be refunded.
Perhaps in the future you need to state these facts up front rather than at the end as on face value it would appear that you intentionally try to deceive money from honest people.
As for the return of the very small waistcoat being lost in the mail, very poor.
Months late, £200 down, people think again. Perhaps if a resolve had been met with the appropriate customer service skills then I might have not gone to print.
Hi - really sorry about the original fabric going out of stock. It was a limited edition run and it proved rather popular. The waistcoat was returned to you and it is extremely unfortunate that the Royalmail lost the delivery. We offered you a completely free 3 piece suit of your choice due to the problems you experienced. This left you with a £300 suit free of charge which we felt was a fair compensation.

Quality And Attention To Detail!
Received my suit today and it fits perfect! I'm getting married in 3 weeks and I know I cut it close but it was worth the wait! I was going for a vintage look with more of a modern fit and Victor Valentine delivered! I've bought quit a few suits from well known stores and the quality behind my Victor Valentine Herringbone Suite is that of suits 2 to 3 times what i paid for mine! (Granted, I used a discount PROMO CODE and got %25 Off) Exeptional Suit! Absolutely love it's vintage look and feel. Will definitely be ordering more!

First Class In Every Way
I really can't recommend Victor Valentine enough. I ordered 3 tweed suits for my wedding and they have been very proactive in getting everything sorted in good time. He's a lovely guy and it was a real pleasure going to meet him when we had our final fit.
Even though I gave him the wrong measurements initially, he re-made the suits at no extra cost to me. I received the suits yesterday and they all fit perfectly, the fabric is high quality and the finish really is exceptional. Great work!!!

Does a phone number exist to where I can speak to them because the emails I sent rarely get answered and my wedding is in March and would love to order? Thanks
If they don't answer emails why would you want to deal with them. Read the bad reviews, I don't believe the good reviews are genuine. They almost ruined my wedding and when I did get the suit the croth split during the wedding. Poor quality, terrible service. He is a middle man who works from his house and then orders the suits from China. If you want a suit from China there are plenty of direct sites you can order from.
