Great Look But Messy

I absolutely love the look of the mascara once its on and dried. It leaves my lashes looking really long and curly. However when you first put it on it takes forever to dry and every time you move you leave black lines eveeywhere. Then when its time to come off its really hard to come off and i didnt even have the waterproof one. Ive lost a few eyelashes trying to scrape it off there for im not wearing it through the day.

Makes Your Eyelashes Come Down

Has a very nice deep black color, but when you apply it, it instantly makes your eyelashes traight down... If you have natural curly eyelashes it may works, but if not... Forget it!

I Bought This Mascara Together With Dior Lipstick.

I bought this mascara together with Dior lipstick. And I can say only the best thing about the lipstick but unfortunately not about mascara. Brush is quite big which may make difficulties applying to lower lashes. Color is rich and really very very black and overall effect after application is impressive. Its biggest minus though is this mascara leaves smudgy marks. I have waterproof one and it is no help what so ever.. I think problem is in fact this mascara dries very slowly after you have applied it. I had to check myself in the mirror all the time to correct my eye make up and every time there were new dark marks.

Definitely not a value for money. In my opinion the leader in mascaras still is Bourjois.

I Am Really Really Disappointed With This Mascara.

I am really really disappointed with this mascara. I bought the non-waterproof one.I bought it because it was recommended by Jemma Kidd in her latest book Jemma Kidd Make-Up Masterclass so i assumed that the £21 i was spending would be well worth it and that i would be wowed by this product.

I am shocked at how inferior this mascara really is! The only plus is that it applies nicely but it goes on too fine so that it doesn't give your lashes any thickness, I have to put on three layers before my lashes start to look prominent and even then they don't look anything special. it gives you a day time mascara look but not the wow factor you would want for a night out on the town.

It also smudges really badly, even when i only applies it to the top lashes i still get panda eyes underneath.

Gutted that i have wasted all this money!

This Mascara Gives Great Length And Excellent Volu

This mascara gives great length and excellent volume to lashes and is very easy to apply. Although Dior Diorshow Black Out is a very good mascara, I found that the brush, not the mascara became very clumpy and the brush itself was in a very bad condition after about 3 months of use so even though the mascara had not run out yet, the mascara brush was unusable.

The Dior Diorshow Black Out is the best chunky, thickening and lengthening mascara I have tried.

Really volumising. Creates thick black long lashes and I don't even need to use eyelash curlers to make them curl.

Personally, I love Dior Diorshow Black Out. I don't wear it for day, for the daytime I wear either Diorshow Iconic or Benefit's Bad Gal.However, for a night out it's perfect.I went to the Dior counter and asked them if they knew how to counteract the smudging and clumping, and they said to wear a less thick mascara during the day, and then at night when you go out, layer some Blackout over the top. This works really well, but I find that the Blackout is a bit too much for a daytime look.

I Don't Know Why Dior Diorshow Black Out Gets Bad

I don't know why Dior Diorshow Black Out gets bad reviews. This mascara does what other mascaras only aspire to. It's one of the only mascaras I've ever used that adequately thickens and lengthens (and man, have I gone through a lot of different kinds of mascara), and it can actually hold a curl on top of all that. I've never had trouble getting it off with a bit of water and any kind of makeup-removing face wash, or just straight makeup remover.I guess maybe you shouldn't use it if you have sparse eyelashes, as it might look a bit odd.

I'm Annoyed With Myself For Falling For The Beauty

I'm annoyed with myself for falling for the beauty counter assistant's recommendations for this product! I usually use Benefit Bad Gal Lash and love it apart from the smudging, so was looking for something with equal va va voom but staying power too. the assistant told me the waterproof version never smudges. well it is waterproof but try as i might, it DOES NOT come off at all with my normal make-up remover but bizarrely it still smudges beneath my eyes a little. worst of both worlds!

also, it is rather pricey so i would have expected it to be fantastic for the money.

I don't hate it though - it does make my pathetic excuse for eyelashes look long & feminine but its a bit scary for work!! also when you apply there is too much excess which can clump and give an aunt sally look, which is not good.

I Have No Idea Why There Are So Many Bad Reviews A

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews about Dior Diorshow Black Out, what can only be considered as the God of all mascaras. The Diorshow Blackout does exactly as promised. I naturally have fairly long lashes but the Diorshow Blackout takes them to a new dimension, with unparalled length and thickness. Also I love the fact that it gives you a false lash effect but doesn't make you look like a drag queen (false lashes especially tend to do that). I always receive compliments about by lashes and various beauticians and assistants from various fashion counters in different stores are always asking me if my lashes are real. I have always recommended this mascara to my friends and never received complaints. Granted, it does take a little getting used to but I would never leave home without it. Just like GHDs, every woman should own one.
