Amazing Lip Color
I love Maybelline Superstay Lip Color. This shade is extremely pretty for party wear. It Has a super nice applicator and is watery inconsistency. Not drying on the lips at all. This is a very comfortable wear product.

I Purchased The Superstay Magbelline Lip Color #70
I purchased the Superstay Magbelline lip color #705 and I absolutely love it. It especially works if you are over 40 because it won't bleed into the fine lines around the mouth. I used it on a snorkeling vacation and it worked great! I absolutely love this product! Only problem is that they have now changed the number of the color and I don't know which number corresponds to the new ones they just released.

This is more like a love hate relationship with this lipstick lol, well first of all i love the colour and it does last longer than any other lipstick ive tried and i do seem to keep on going back to buy this lipstick all the time but the bad things about it is it does dry ur lips out if you dont keep on using the balm through out the day so make sure you dont forget to put the balm in your handbag cause it can get tricky and the other problem i have is that the lipstick tube last for ages but the balm runs out far too quickly and i have to keep on buying one sometimes weekly and just for the balm is very expensive,i did try to cheat and put vaseline on top and other cheap balms but dont be fooled it dont work haa but ive got to admit i do love it .

As far as lip colors go, this is very decent. I liked the tint of the color and how only some colors have sparkle (not a fan of sparkly lipstick).
Pros: Stays on decent, can drink/eat without wear, has moisture stick
Cons: not many colors, begins to flake after a few hours (but then you can put more on and it looks fine)

The Superstay Lip Color Has A Good Applicator Once
The Superstay Lip color has a good applicator once you get a little practice with it. The colors are okay, and work best when close to your own skin tone. If you use a bright or deep color- you have to still be a little careful with it.
These are great for lip color when skiing, or during sweaty exercise- just apply it to clean dry lips and let it dry all the way. A second light coat may or may not work, it usually works for me but sometimes it will result in color peeling off in spots... :-(
Regarding troubles removing this product: Chap stick or regular moisturizing lipstick will soften and halp remove the lip color- just leave the chapstick or regular lipstick or gloss on for a little while. Gently remove, scrub very gently with a tissue or q-tip soaked in baby oil or veggy oil, then blot dry, and repeat if necessary.
I like using regular lipstick in a similar shade to remove these 'paint-like' colors- it is easy, looks fine and is very gentle. Just apply it about an hour before you want to remove the super stay lip color and then wipe.
Vodka (or other grain spirit, i would assume) works fairly well, and is great for softening it up or touching up after the first method.
As a dead last resort, a q-tip lightly moistened with acetone will remove the color- but this is asking for dry lips and solvent toxicity, so do this ONLY as a last resort, and go LIGHTLY on the acetone and of course wash your mouth out afterwards. If you have to go this far, you probably should not use this product in the first place though.

Absolutely Rubbish!!!! I Tested This Product On My
Absolutely rubbish!!!! I tested this product on my hands and believe me the hands tell a completely different story to the lips. I was so excited to use it on my lips but really very disappointed when I did. I've tried to use it every way possible, i.e. colour 1st then balm, balm 1st then colour, balm colour balm, my own balm but the results were same. My lips dried sooo much and the colour was flaking off. I had bits all over my lips. 1st and last time I would be using maybelline! Very disappointing
'grey' food should read 'greasy' food. I it possible to alter it please?
What n absolute load of rubbish. I've used this product since it was launched and wouldn't use anything else. Put on the colour, let it dry for 2 minutes and put on the balm. Unless you eat grey food it will stay on all day and WITHOUT needing to reapply balm, your lips will stay supple and moist. I am 60+ and if it's alright on my lips i cannot imagine what would cause it to do otherwise except perhaps incorrect use.
