Creamy Luxury
I have just tried new L'Oreal EverCréme Conditioning Cleanser and I have to say I'm very pleased so far.
This is part of a renewed trend in hair care. A NON-DETERGENT cleanser with a deep moisturizing action. I say 'Renewed' because this has been tried before with mixed success.
The product is a thick, creamy lotion with a light fragrance that becomes a super-fine creamy foam when massaged into wet hair. It leaves my hair soft, silky, and detangled. After drying my hair felt as if it had been treated with a quality creme rinse which is fine if you like that. (I Don't) Soft, Smooth, Tangle-Free, Non Frizzy and Non-Static but, people with fine, fly-away hair may find it a bit over-conditioned.
I can't comment on the color preserving ability because my hair has not been recently colored. As I said the fragrance is very light and pleasant but persistent and I find it slightly nauseating so you might want to check the scent to see if you could tolerate it long term.
I couldn't see myself using this on a regular basis but if you currently use a product like WEN™ or need a really gentle cleanser for delicate or extra dry hair you may want to give this a try.
