changing the battery turned my fingers into a bloody mess. battery lasted less than 2 weeks.never again will i purchase an oral b product of any kind

You never know how fast a battery might die, but the vibrating brush function is only available while the original battery is working. A simple option to open the brush and let the customer be able to switch batteries might have been great, and it doesn't seem so hard to design it that way.

However, in spite of how easy it seems to change the battery, it is not designed for normal customers to do that.

* Funny direction written on the box, it tells us what to do when battery dies:

"Simply throw it away and use a new one"?!

I love the cleaning action so much it actually makes me clean my teeth for longer (though I expect that novelty will wear off soon!) I don't know why other reviewers are complaining about the expense - six quid for three months of quality tooth cleaning seems like a bargain to me, especially as we should all be changing our toothbrushes that frequently anyway. So all you people who are trying to change the battery - shame on you!

Once the battery runs out this product is unusable as the battery cannot be changed, the battery compartment does not allow the battery to be changed without damaging it and it is very badly put together.

This is a very expensive buy for a one off disposable toothbrush.

I have been using electrical tooth brushes, but I bought a Oral B Pulsar 2 months ago so that I could bring it with me while travelling. Today I opened its case and pressed the "+" button, it just clicked but nothing moved. I pressed the "-" button, it clicked again but nothing happens. I tried these many times and not one piece of bristles moved. Just wonder whether the battery has already run out before the packing was opened, or have I missed out any steps in turning it ON.

I actually bought two of these, so I opened the other pack as well and the same happened. Can some help, please?

the oral B pulsar tooth brush. Seriously tore up my gums.. Yes its good to get them clean. But if you brush your teeth like a normal person. Which is two to three times a day. It seriously just tore up my gums and it actually made me get an infection.. I would not recommend this to a friend.. ABSOLUTELY not!! I bought the toothbrush about three weeks ago. I used it for a week.. and after that. My gums haven't healed up yet. I actually had to contact my dentist. and ask them for advice onhow to heal my gums.. DON't BUY THIS TOOTHBRUSH>>!!!!

Very good brush, it is, yes. The tooth cleaning is surelly the best I ever had. BUT IT'S SHORT LIFE (1 MONTH) MAKES IT VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE ! one can't change the battery. It makes this brush highly pollutive !

No I would not recommend it to a friend

The Oral-B Pulsar is an excellent tooth brush, once you start, you cant stop with them! but only thing is.... the battery does run out, but it can be replaced! its designed to break after the battery has been taken out, but aslong as you are careful, try to not bend the metal connected to the positive side of the battery, because it wont stay in place after!

I found the battery on my Oral-B Pulsar only lasted a month. I didn't think that was very good value for money.

The only good thing about this brush is the shape of the head and the design in all i think the head and the mini brushes in between the main brushes were very good but very dissapoited as i feel it was not taken into cosideration the reusable part of the product and the pricing is far to exspensive for what it is worth.the most annoying thing about this is the disposable part,once the battery runs out you can not use it agen.
