Hotpoint WDPG9640BC Washer Dryer

This dish washer really saves my life as well as time. Very covenant and easy to access machine. Good features and amazing quality dish washer. Completely wash and rinse the dishes. Also, drys out quickly. I really liked this dish washer so much.

The back color hits out, it's very quiet and great equipment that does all of your laundries in one.

As one of the cheapest washer dryers on the list, it's also feature-packed; fans love Super Wash, Eco, and a Super Silent Motorcycles, while the Anti-Allergy wash and rinse cycle removes 99.9% of major allergens like pollen, dust, and pet dander.

Apart from mostly having long washing cycles the machine has been very good...…..Until it started to try and beat itself apart. I found the holding bolts for the bottom front cement weight had worked loose in the cement holes, I tried a repair by putting the machine on its front and filling the bolt holes, bolts in place, with glass fibre resin poured into the gaps. That worked for a year and again they came loose, beating itself enough to crack the block. I used it until the concrete dust pile built up underneath and the noise and vibration became unbearable. Shame really as the rest of the machine has survived the most arduous vibration test imaginable with flying colours. The weakest link ruining the machine after 5 years is not my idea of a good buy. The block fastenings need redesigning!

It started off really well; when it was first used, but then we were very disappointed after only two weeks.

The kitchen filled with steam with an error code F12 on the machine; steam was billowing out from the closed door! Switched off and tried again, it then worked for a few more times when disaster struck.

The machine fill up with water; which could not be seen and it showed flashing light with an error code F15, the door was opened and water gushed out tried to close the door but some clothes got trapped between the door and the machine so we had ½” of water on the floor.

When the washing machine was working it worked quite well but it made a noise like a steam train and it smelled really weird.

I would not recommend this Hotpoint Washing Machine to anybody. I bought this machine because it ticked all the boxes that I wanted and it was a British company.

I must say it is well worth buying from a good store like John Lewis; they exchanged the washing machine for another make with no problems

I would never buy anything made by Hotpoint again.
