Having had various problems when machine under warranty, I then took out insurance with Domestic & General. Two actual visits and two that they cancelled an hour before engineer due has resulted in no repair thus far and three weeks on I am no nearer knowing when machine will be fixed. Appalling service from both Domestic & General and Hoover Candy.

Never ever buy a Hoover Candy this machine purchased 2yrs ago has had 10 engineers out seven pumps 5 programmers engineer has ripped my Lino and flooded kitchen as broke pipe during repair and didn't tell, have never had more than 3 months without a repair and takes 2 weeks to come, never gas parts so another 2 weeks then when parts arrive another 2 weeks machine is rusted at bottom and coating has peeled away with volume of repairs. Extended guarantee means I'm stuck with repairs for another 2 years. If I could give score for customer service try minus 100 been hung up on over 20 times managers never call back always claim no record of last call and so on. Worst company ever..........

- AFTER DRYING CYCLE DOOR STICKS AND CANNOT BE OPENED

- SPINNING IS A PROBLEM AS " the machine is fitted with a special electronic device which prevents the spin cycle should the load be unbalanced" WELL 80% OF LOADS SEEM UNBALANCED!! I have never experienced such a problem before, this results in hundreds of unsucessful spins!

- a few weeks after the garantee expired, the switch on/off became temperamental

I would never buy CANDY again and I have to buy a new washer dryer even though this one is about 1 year old

I bought this Candy Washer Dryer Model number CDB754D in April 2013 and I have had such an awful experience with it.

It had to be replaced within the first 7 days of purchase because it wasn't working at all after the first wash. I since then had another 3 occasions where it would display errors which need a service engineer to come out and check.

Hoover Candy give you a years' guarantee with the product but their service is absolutely AWFUL.

Their customer service line takes 15 minutes minimum to be answered and their web booking system for service is inadequate.

I have booked 3 visits so far where they either didn't have my details on their system despite sending me a confirmation email with a booking reference number, the engineer was ill, or I had no phone call cancellation at all.

In all occasions I had to make arrangements and be at home for the visit and they show NO respect at all when you call to complain to speak to a manager about their POOR POOR SERVICE.

If you are thinking about buying this particular washer dryer please don't and think seriously very carefully if you are planning to buy ANY HOOVER CANDY appliances.

My experience has been the worst of the appliance itself but also the poor customer service and the lack of respect to the paying customer for their time and money.
