Great Machine But A Bad Design Fault
Great machine, washes well - large drum...but when you have to clean the filter the design makes it almost impossible to catch the water that comes out. The filter flap is very low down and in previous models I have seen (when I downloaded the manual)the flap pops off- which is a reasonable idea..... But in the model I have - which I assume is the latest model - the flap is hinged -so it is impossible to get any container under the filter outlet. An awful design, and if I had known I think I would have not purchased the machine-although I have owned 3 already in the past (no problem with the filters with them). I wonder if this is because AEG are now owned by Electrolux?

When I programme in a wash, dry or rinse cycle, it goes through the motions for just a few seconds then stops and displays a number 1 in the display. After a few seconds, the “1” changes to “0” and the door unlocks. No proper error code is displayed. Any advice on this problem? It would be much appreciated - thanks in anticipation.
