Miele 4920sc

The 4920SC dishwasher has had lots of good reviews. The one I have doesn't do what it says it does i.e. doesn't wash clean or dry dishes

We use it for pet dishes which are wiped clean. it leaves food stuck on and the items wet. It only appears to work reasonably well on the intensive programme, which takes over 3 hours and clearly costs a lot more to run.

We actually bought it to run on the sensor programme, so that it would automatically select and clean accordingly - it doesn't work on this at all, leaves food stuck to the dishes.

Engineer came out, he says that the main problem is that the pump is under powered and the holes in the spinning arm are too small so debris collects there. Despite taking this apart and cleaning it all out, and despite us wiping all the debris off the plates and bowls, it still does not clean well.

Miele have suggested using their tablets - shouldn't be required. It should run on any decent tablet.

I didn't spend all that money to replace a very old Miele dishwasher which only ran on intensive programme with a brand new expensive one that does the same!
