One Super Cool Fan...

The Honeywell HO-1100RE is really all about what a fan is supposed to be: compact, quite and effective. The air conditioning in our building is decent, no complaints – but in an office with computers, monitors, printers and chaos, a cool breeze is always welcomed.

The Honeywell is nice because it offers a number of effective – but not overwhelming – settings. Digitally control the set desired temperature, choose the intensity of airflow and set whether you want to spread the love and oscillate the fan side to side.

With minimal noise and taking up virtually no space while tucked in a corner it’s hard to find many downsides about it. The only complaint I could possibly level against it is the price. This isn’t in the category of “$20 desk fan” – but then again, you are getting a heck of a lot more.

All together, it’s a great package and recommended for anyone needing a bit of a cool down.

Having Hit The Summer, The Time Came To Finally Pu

Having hit the summer, the time came to finally purchase a fan for our bedroom, as it gets really quite stuffy at night. I did a bit of research and came across the Honeywell brand, so I took a chance with their HO-1100RE model.

The Honeywell HO-1100RE Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote and Timer is an elegant fan with remote, and comes in silver/chrome.

It has 3 different air flow settings to reach your desired level, this can be controlled by the easy to use control panel, or from across the room via the remote control.

This tower fan also oscillates, distributing the air around the room quite nicely. A breeze interval function can also be used to intermittently blow air or not if you do not want a constant breeze. A timer can also be programmed to turn off the fan after the programmed period which can be from 30 minutes to 7.5 hours.

We've used this fan only a couple of times, and so far, we're happy with it. It can seem a little noisy at first, but you soon get used to this. If you're a VERY light sleeper, perhaps try it out first, before buying.
