Not A Bad Oven Considering What It Is And The Pric
Not a bad oven considering what it is and the price I found it for. Couldn't really make up my mind which oven to buy and at what size 50, 55 or 60cm? but chose this even though I couldn't find this particular model in the local curry's to view.
The timer functions are easy to use and all the doors and controls seem sturdy enough.
My main gripe are the ovens - the seals appear very flimsy and could be contributing to the following. It would seem that larger capacity and gas marks do not match! i.e. it took twice as long to cook a chicken in the main oven and a pizza in the top oven compared to my old 50cm cooker at the same mark?
Even when you open the doors it is apparent the heat is not there? I don't think this is a fault just something to do with the bigger oven? The zoning is ridiculous - put it in, what I thought was, the middle and took twice as long to cook - but the roasts at the top were burnt in seconds. So for the pizza I tried using the smaller top oven - with the same disappointing results??
On this small usage I wouldn't recommend getting such a large oven even for a big family - go small and cook quicker.
