Hoover Velocity VL81

There are good and bad features with this model.

Power in abundance a huge plus point, as is the manoeuvrability.

Pretty noisy, I thought it would be much quieter than my dyson.

Having only two rear wheels and no height settings can make it hard work to use, unless of course it can be substituted for a gym workout, does make it difficult to use on mats, in fact it's necessary to resort to the pet attachment which whilst noisy is good. The ridgid pipe length however is too short and can only be used effectively by someone two feet tall.

A new phenomenon hoovering the Hoover when I'm done, I have to do this quite frequently.

I didn't try out in the shop unfortunately, in hindsight I would have chosen one with a bag and 4 wheels - an old fashioned one.

I would have liked a trial period and have been able to return if it wasn't up to scratch.
