T-Mobile U-Fix

I had the £15 U-fix which allowed 50 minutes of any network calls and 25 texts per month. As I am a low user it was perfectly adequate for me. I like the fact that it was a fixed price at £15. I could also top up as with a pay as you go for texts and calls which would not be included. I preferred this as I didn't have to wait for a monthly bill to find out how much I had spent. The only trouble I found was remembering when my new month would start - I tended not to use it as much as I should to avoid going over the 50 minutes!

I was looking to buy a Samsung E900 for my son so I went into the T-mobile shop as this was his current network. They clearly explain they do not sell it on pay as you go but I can get it on UFIX which I like a contract for kids. As it allows you to top up once your minutes and texts have run out and you don't get any "BIG" bills through the post.

The people in my local T-Mobile shop explained everything to me and that I could get the Phone on UFIX £20.00 on a 12 months contact and it would cost me £50.00 for the phone which I think is fair.

So I was ready to go head and register. Took almost 2 hours to register the phone in the shop as there computer systems were not working so they had to ring there call centers. The 2 staff in the shop couldn't of been more helpful they explained that call centers for t-mobile shops are in the Phillipins so it would take longer. All the time we were in the shop they couldn't of been nicer to us. The staff who served us spend 2 Hours on 2 Phones to the Customer Service On Hold with the same music playing over and over and over.

After all that the phone was finally ready. With UFIX £20.00 you get 75 Mins And 50 texts which i thought was OK for my son.

So far the plan has been perfect and i would recommend for any parents thinking about getting the children contracts.
