In the 2 years I've been living here I've never had any visitor fail to wake / find me, I've have a doorbell that wakes the dead and a phone next to the bed. And I get dozens of couriers a week.

While the office staff seemed nice enough their Engineer couldn't be bothered to do the work. A simple ring of the bell or a beep of his horn would have woke me as thousands of people have previously proven. If I'd even been asleep. It's also a private compound up in the hills where a simple beep of the horn summons immediate attention.

Instead he decided to leave a card, pretend he couldn't get hold of us and go have a cuppa somewhere. What he didn't realize where there was two people home and waiting. Our chimney is blocked, we can't heat the house his unprofessional behavior has left us at continued health risk.

If you ever consider using this company go to Google and find a different one, just for our sake, please. For the sake of two people shivering in a freeing house because of one lazy, unprofessional "engineer".

Do yourself a favor;- order a chimney sweep that might actually turn up and have the intelligence to use either a doorbell or a car horn. Although I suspect given the temperature we had no chance of him actually wanting to do any work.
