No Customer Support
The lid-opening part of the lid assembly broke off after a few uses of the pressure cooker. I contacted Tower to see about a replacement part but they do not have this part. I asked about a replacement handle assembly but they could not provide that either. When I asked about a new lid they said it would be too dangerous to send in the post!!!! Despite having a 10 year warranty, Tower do not have any support in place if their products are faulty. You are better off buying another make.

The Whole Pressure Cooker Was Easy To Carry
The whole pressure cooker was easy to carry thanks to the extra lug handle. It's effortless to clean as the main pan is dishwasher safe and any dirt traps are easy to access. Quiet - this product has been scientifically assessed and found to be quieter than most in this category.

Didn't Work
I bought two of these fairly recently, one worked (a bit hit and miss though), one didn't. I gave the working one to my daughter and use the other as a handy large ordinary pan now. So I dumbly got another on offer making it cheap, have gone to use it from brand new and steam is leaking everywhere, no pressure. I have used Prestige ones in the past with no problem so I don't think it's me. I'll have to take a good look at it. I think you should go for another brand.

10 Minutes
Bought the new digital Tower pressure cooker £149.99. When I got home, washed it all out and prepared a stew. Placed stew in pressure cooker and set for stew (automatic timing set for 35 mins). Turned cooker on (electric). After 10 minutes cooker started beeping and after checking manual for error code found that electrics had failed. Phoned Tower and was told item faulty, return to supplier. When I washed it out to return I found a nut in lid rolling about unsecured which should have been fitted to keep steam vent clear of debris. For £150.00 I would have expected better workmanship and for cooker to at least cook 1 meal. Will never buy a Tower product again.

Waste Of Money
I recently bought 2 tower pressure cookers from Makro wholesale they cost £49.99 each and within 2 months both are broken. I thought you get what you pay for so even though i saw cheaper pressure cooker's i opted for a well known name brand.......what a big disappointment i may as well have gone to my local market and bought a cheaper version's of the same product. I am going to return them both and will never buy any products' from your company again.

Good Price But....
I wanted a large pressure cooker and this was plenty big enough at 7 litres. I loved the way the gauge spun around to tell you it was at the right pressure. The price was great too at Argos. However the plastic lever on the handle that allows you to open the lid has broken after only 4 months. Argos didn't argue, they offered me a replacement or my money back. I took the money and I'm now researching which model to try next. I may well go back to my original Prestige Hi-dome which had given me many years of good service although not quite so big.
During my current research I have read of other people having similar problems with the lid, so I don't think mine was a one off happening. It is a shame as until this happened I was very happy with it.

A Tale Of Woe
I envied my Boyfriend's wonderful ancient pressure cooker. He bought me a TowerSpeedFour for Christmas...I am SO disappointed (and embarrassed) by its DISMAL performance. The bottom is distorted - useless on my electric hob... ALSO lid-lock takes fifteen minutes to close. MY STEAMER IS FASTER. So much for the anticipated saving of time or energy.

Tower Rapid Chef 6ltr
I love my pressure cooker and have now had it for over a decade. Thanks to a review on this website I was able to replace the gasket for the best price from the manufacturer. This is the first time I have had to replace the gasket and the pressure cooker still looks like new even after considerable use!! It has to be value for money! I would highly recommend a tower pressure cooker.

In 3 months all pieces of this cooker are falling apart. Very disappointed.
Buy something more expensive and be happy.

Lid Lock Blues
Price was right - product was available - previous model was stolen from the kitchen by a friend of my wife at our party.
Third outing the Manual Lid Lock snapped off its weak plastic stud mounting and yes, you've guessed it, spares are not available! The P&P costs of returning it to the retailer aren't worth it so - anyone want a deep stockpot thats rather heavy? Collect only.
Q&A
My tower pressure cooker blew up in my face in Christmas Day. I have sent the product back and I have now been told that it was 'user error'. Apparently, the lid was forced off whilst still under pressure! Has anyone else experienced issues of this kind? My next move is to go public with this issue.
I want to know the contact details of the company manufacturung Tower pressure as I want to find out if I can get acopy of the instruction booklet of the Tower pressure cooker?
