Intex Ultra Frame Swimming Pool

18ft x 9 ft only used a few times ,bought 3 months ago. found it quite easy to set up.Problems started first week. Although used correct sand in pump,some filtered through into pool.This did not cause a problem but seems like pump is not strong enough for size of pool,when in filter mode. Skimmer split along top after a week,which I had to glue the net back. The main problems were when we tried to dismantle it. You can't empty the pool fully without lifting 1 end up which is very heavy . All the metal support tubes were stuck solid to the sleeves which after contacting the suppliers eventually removed them days later ,and the long sides had pulled out of their sockets and a couple of the lugs were broken,caused by the sheer weight of the water bending the sides.It would probably not lasted if we had not emptied it.This pool was only used by our 7 young granddaughters,and noticed the ladder is not very stable. After drying it all out we returned it as there were too many faults. We personally think for an above ground pool of this size it needs boxed in sides that don't bulge out,a stronger pump ,a ladder that fixes to the surround.stronger skimmer or one that doesn't split so easy.Easier draining method for last 6 inches ,Perhaps an extra flat plug on the base.All in all a shame as the girls are sad we returned it.We hope this info is of use to the manufacturer and they will take note.

We got the intex 15ft.x4ft metal frame pool at Walmart. We got it in May within a month grass grew up through it now its leaking on the side. I thought they were made to last and they have now warranty on the liners. I think they should back their products and get thicker tarps or something. We even hauled in clay to reduce the risk of grass and to level but yet we still have bad results this is a sorry product and we have no intentions of buying another one. Absolutely would not recommend!!!!!! My ratings 1 being worst didnt want to put a rating! You pay $400 for something and you expect it to last and ours has only lasted about 2 months...

I bought this Intex Ultra Frame pool a month ago and it has been great! I set it up in about an hour and a half and set it to filling. I added the salt and let it desolve for 24 hours and set it to running. We are so happy with this pool. I added some stabilizer to keep the clorine in the pool during these Carolina summer days. I also adjusted the PH down a bit. Thats it!

I find the Intex Ultra Frame Swimming Pool a super product, get the one with the salt water system, no chlorine, excellent water, 9 out of 10! Read the manual for site selection before you start to set it up. Level means level. With 5,000+ gallons of water, you do not want to be leaning.
