Pathclear Weed Killer

28 days since I applied it according to instructions on a dry windless day. Absolutely no effect whatsoever! Don’t buy it!

Bought large (£35) - used under exceptionally dry and mild conditions and waited the 14 days as stated for results. Absolutely nothing - not one dead weed! Brought this up with the company direct who said there was nothing they could do as it was used beyond their September recommendation and cold weather can affect results. Fact is it hasn't been cold, we've had no frost to date and if that's the case they should not be selling during winter months. 

I bought 2 large spray refills costing £35. Generously sprayed weeds in dry conditions. No rain for the next two days and the results were VERY ineffective. Some weeds were slightly discoloured after a week, but 95% were still going strong.i am going to make a product complaint at B&Q Gravesend, where I bought them.

I only have myself to blame. Yet again this year I have forked out £200 on Pathclear and Weedol. I follow instructions to the letter and I even double up the strength and my weeds continue to thrive. I foolishly thought that the liquid tubes would be more effective but they aren't. These products were once very effective but the ingredients have clearly been weakened to the point where every weed needs drenched weekly for several applications before it "dies." i.e.temporarily wilts until reappearing the next year. Like I say I only have myself to blame. I have finally learned my lesson. NOT ANOTHER PENNY!!!!!!!! I am going to buy a burner which will definitely do what it promises. Instant results and certainly a lot cheaper for a larger property. I would never recommend this product to anyone. Finally watch out for ridiculously priced boxes containing 3 tubes. Tut tut, Retailers and tut tut Weedol for allowing it.

Sorry I didn't read the reviews before I bought this stuff. Despite using a higher concentration than the instructions say there was very little effect on the weeds. Am thinking of reporting this to the trades description people. Meanwhile I'm getting my hoe out.

This product is just not fit for purpose. It does not kill the weeds in fact they look healthier now than before I treated them.I can now see why you have advertise extensively to get rid of a product that clearly does not work.I work hard for my money and do not appreciate being ripped off with a product that does not do what the adverts and packaging say it does.How you have the nerve to sell this product to gardeners who have to trust your products I can not imagine.And do not blame the E.U.for your inept interpretation of EU regulations. Needless to say I am happy,however my weeds are very happy!!!!!

Well, what can I say? If your aim is to effectively water the weeds to help them flourish then Pathclear is the product for you. No sign of killing them after quite some time so I can only imagine they love the combination of chemicals which make up the product nowadays.

I have to give a single star so let's say that's because you at least get a bit of fresh air whilst applying so it's better than sitting in front of the tv.

Rubbish, yet reassuringly expensive, product.

Just to echo what others have said, this product has no effect whatsoever. Don't buy it!

New pathclear (not old pink one) is a waste of money. Fast acting, not any more.

Two doses now and the dandelions are still growing and flowering.

If it rains a few days after treatment they actually recover!

Don't use it!

Ok....i was a little dubious, but it seems the best on the shelf. So i used it... nothing after a week so I called the number on pack... they explained how it works, how long it takes... which is around 28 days. So I waited... yup weeds dead in just over 24 days, no weeds have returned and this was about 14 weeks ago!!

From what I can see the old stuff did work faster, but something in the mix was banned as it was dangerous to humans!! So.... i say rather be safe for me, my family and other animals... than zap weeds in just one day. I am in no rush! Happy to spend out once every year rather than loads of sprays every month.
