Great Starters Guitar
I have an epiphany aj 100, it's my beater but I love it. I have more pro guitars but this one is surely the best value, and it's great to have one that I don't have to baby too much.
All that said, this thing sounds great and is well made from nice materials, and according to other reviews the sound quality is consistent. Now I found out yesterday this guitar even came with scalloped braces like the pros do. I don't know if this was a custom job ( mine was second hand) or cam like this from the factory, but I do believe it is one of the reasons this guitar sound the was it does.
Give this guitar a nice setup and some fine medium strings and it will play and sound like a thousand bucks.

I Got This Guitar For Christmas 2010, So I Don't K
I got this guitar for Christmas 2010, so I don't know the price payed for it, however, they range online from about 50 (second hand) to 80 (brand-new) pounds.
To put it as blunt as it is, this guitar is near-enough the best instrument you will be able to get in it's price range. I've been playing it for a few hours each day since Christmas now, and it has completely exceeded expectations. For a start, I was able to play the guitar fairly easily straight out of the box, the neck was entirely straight, and the action was surprisingly low, being an acoustic. (not to say that I wouldn't adjust it a little more, but still, its fine as it is, especially for bedroom musicians, or beginners.)
The finish is a nice natural colour, but this is I suppose a really common feature, hence the four stars, but it does come with a with real nice grain all over the body. The fingerboard is made of rosewood, whereas the neck and body are made of mahogany. The back of the neck is fairly glossy, though, and this can occasionally get nerving, if you're like me, and play on really smoothly finished maple electric necks. However, the sound really makes up for this.
The sound is phenomenal, and was a pleasant surprise to say the least, when I first played it. It has a real bright mid-end and high end, for those little fiddly solo parts in songs, whilst still being able to maintain a lovely warm, but crisp low end, for chords, and rhythm sections. I also think the strings that the guitar comes loaded with sound and feel nice, and for the first few days, give that real nice "wipe" sound, which, I think EVERYONE loves. I really love to play rhythm AND lead on this guitar, as I think it handles both brilliantly. It is also relatively versatile, even though it is an acoustic. The harmonics on this guitar are also fantastically audible.
The guitar is also built very well, and seems to have a few years and a bit of life in it. I can't really comment on this very well as I have so far owned the guitar for 3 days, so I can only assume, but from feel, and look, I can tell you that the guitar seems built to last for a decent amount of time.
Overall, I would just say that despite the measly price tag, do not be put off, because I think this is one of the best acoustic guitars you can get at all, let alone in its price range. I'd recommend this to both the beginner, and the experienced guitarist, because it really is a beautiful sounding instrument. Particularly its nice warm low-end.

It's Amazing That The Epiphone Aj100 Even Plays In
It's amazing that the Epiphone AJ100 even plays in tune, let alone pleasantly. In general, this is a bare-bones, but high quality guitar.
This is an excellent instrument for its price. While one makes some aesthetic compromises in choosing this guitar he will find that it is musically up to snuff.

I Had Some Doubts About The Epiphone Aj100 As It's
I had some doubts about the Epiphone AJ100 as it's made in China, but after trying it at the music shop I found a really good guitar, with a warm tone and an excellent balance, and affordable. I think it will sound even better through the years.

Incredibly Beautiful, A Perfect Sound. The Epiphon
Incredibly beautiful, a perfect sound. The Epiphone AJ100 is the best guitar I've ever had! The brand Epiphone produces a lot of beautiful and cheap guitars. It's very resistant too! The best guitar ever! (for only 100'!)

I've Bought This Aj100 In Natural Finish For About
I've bought this AJ100 in natural finish for about US$100 in 2003 and its been pretty good to me. My guitar was made in Qingdao, China. The body is sturdy, the sound is crisp and full and it's pretty easy to maintain; and the price for it wasn't bad. I do think that the neck on mine is a little bent, but even then the strings stay pretty well in tune.

I've Just Bought The Epiphone Aj100 Acoustic Guita
I've just bought the Epiphone AJ100 Acoustic Guitar after trying many other brands in this price range. I got amazed for the sound, really. I owned some other acoustic guitars long time ago but I didn't expect this one to be that good. The sound is clear, the tuning is perfect, the balance between lows and trebles is also perfect and the sustain is really good.
