Pizza Piatto, Beccles

Meal was ok came out piping hot but soon went cold because the place was freezing we had to keep our coats on which wasn't a lot of fun couldn't wait to get in car to warm up . Brrrrrrrr

My wife and I had a super meal here whilst on holiday. Food was brilliant and the staff were professional and attentive. Really nice atmosphere. Couldn't really find any faults. If you are local or just visiting, give this restuarant a try.

I always enjoy a lovely meal in Pizza Piatto. The atmosphere is intimate yet very lively. Great for families with kids, going out with friends and romantic meals with your partner. There is a car park opposite the restaurant which is very usefull and if my friends visit from Lowestoft, the train station is only a couple of mins walk from the restaurant too. I would definitely recommend that everyone who loves Italian pizza and pastas try this restaurant.

I would definatly reccomend this place to anyone looking to eat in beccles. the staff are extremely friendly and always willing to give you advice on the menu and your choice of food, also there service is extremely quick having your meal perfectly timed and drinks available the minuite you ask.

Atmosphere is great and can become very busy on a saturday night with a friendly manager always willing to look after you. great authentic surroundings full of pictures on the wall and intalian music playing in the background.

The food was amazing, full of flavour and preperation and the garlic bread has to be one of my favourites. all food can be changed depending on your taste, for example not including certian ingredients that you may not like or adding to a recipe for extra flavours and the perfect taste.

the deserts are very well presented full of colour and big on taste and are delivered very quickly.

take aways from pizza piato's are also very recomendable as they provide great value for money and are in my opinion the best place to look in the area. also you would only have to wait around 15-25mins for it to be made and picked up for collection after you have ordered.

some advice would be to book a table in advance as it can become busy during a friday and saturday, or to book a table and drop in during the week.

overall a top notch restaurant, very good atmosphere and service, well prepared, quality food and great value for money. If you havnt been before then you simply must!

What a disappointment, admittedly it was January, midweek and early evening but I would have expected to dine in warmth. We had to keep our overcoats on, but take our gloves off to handle the cutlery. We decided to have just a main course so we could get home and warm up. The start of was an example of how the rest of the evening went, after ordering our meals, we were asked if we would like olives, I asked how they were prepared, i.e. marinated - what selection etc., and was told "just out of a jar". The Italian beer was good, but the food was middle of the road, and we had problems deciding what the 'meat' was in the lasagne. We did not stop for a pudding or coffee as we decided to have something at home and warm up. It will probably mean it is not worth a second visit to the restaurant for us.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. My best friend used to work here, and was treated so well by the boss. I have taken all sorts of people here, friends, partners and family, and the food is amazing. After 10 the restaurant turns into a party atmosphere, with the owner Luigi turning up the music. I like the warm atmosphere, and the friendly faces. We went here first purely for a drink, and stayed for hours eating and drinking. I love it

I have been eating in Pizza Piatto for past 10 years.RecentIy I visit the restaurant with my friends (10 of us) and we love it there! I know on weekend, when they are very busy, food may takes longer than usuall to arrive, but I know fresh food takes longer to prepare..but the athmosphere is so cozy and lovely, I enjoyed the drinks and nice music with my friends, while we were waiting for our food.

We are an easy going set of friends but waiting upto 1.5 hours for our main meals at Pizza Piatto did not impress us. To make matters worse the staff seemed unhelpful when dealing with us and our main meal arrived without pasta! Its very authentic but we felt very disappointed as we had taken our friends there!

I have been eating here since I was around five years old (Eighteen on writing this) and never have I once been let down by the food here, it really is amazingly good quality and I recommend it to anyone.
