Legend Of Zelda, Majoras Mask Had Great Game Pla
Legend Of Zelda, Majoras Mask had great game play and had a good length.. the amount of levels you had to go through was good and the option to change from older to younger was fascinating too. However the owl was annoying and Ganondorf was nearly impossible to kill in the end. It can happen though. Good game

I Believe This Game Was Expected To Be Better Than
I believe this game was expected to be better than its prquel;
The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, but it didn't exceed.
Instead nintendo brought us a game that was completely different in ones perspective, but yet you could make the connection between the two games.
The start of the game as the Decu Scrub was certainly a twist but it made the start of the game enjoyable and made it feel better.
As a review I read earlier said "This game would be able to stand up on it's own as a wonderful game" by Mike101, He was quite correct. This will hopefully go down in the books as one of the more enjoyable games in nintendo's history.
I would rate this game overall 9.7/10, and recommend that anyone who hasn't played it yet, find a copy and play it!

Legend Of Zelda, Majoras Mask Too Often Gets Confu
Legend Of Zelda, Majoras Mask too often gets confused with being Ocarina of Time Part 2. When in fact, once you get past the similar graphics, music, sound effects, and even a few characters, the game strives very well on its own. Though it can't really measure up to its predecessor, there are still incredibly new, unique, and innovative elements added to Majora's Mask that seemed to be missing from Ocarina of Time.
You are really pressed for time, however, because you only have 3 days (which is about 72 minutes, I think, in real time) to get what you need done, then you'll have to play the Song of Time, go back to day 1, and start again with some of the same items you had before, but no money, and you'll have to re-attain certain items. It can be tedious, but I still think it's an incredible concept.
One of my favorite things about the game is that all of these different masks will let you do different things. Whereas the masks in OoT were simply for side-mission purposes (most of them, anyway), you really have to utilize your masks here in a creative and useful way.
Overall, the game can't compare to OoT, but it does get close, and standing alone, it's an amazing game. A lot between the two games are similar, but in certain areas, Majora's Mask tends to be just as good and even better than OoT.

The Anticipation For The Legend Of Zelda, Majora's
The anticipation for the Legend Of Zelda, Majora's Mask game when it came out was extremely high, and sadly it failed the expectation. However, it is still a great game. The only reason for it being seen as a mis hit, is because of the might of the game it was a sequel to. But I am here to review this game, and to new Zelda players it won't disappoint.
The overall feel to it is fun. Its world encapsulates the cartoonish aspect to the world with the musical scores (not as good as OOT) still are wonderful. Playing as Link you begin to enjoy. The main difference and down point is the timer. This feels constricting to your play as you have to be quick, and always have an eye on it. Pushing all bad points to the side, the truth is that this is a great game with great characters, music, items, worlds and dungeons, although its prequel still hangs over this game - it can stand on its own as a wonderful game.
I agree with this review, but i also disagree with some points given.
He was correct about the fact that the anticipation was high, but it did not completely fail anticipation.
No it wasn't as good as it's predessessor, but the gametime, gameplay, graphics, storyline and item expectations were exceeded.
As you said "The main difference and down point is the timer"
I disagree, the timer is a good way for people to learn the game controls and get used to the game quickly. This allows for more extensive gameplay and allows the player to have more fun.
All in all I pretty much agree with you, as this game was very good and "It can stand up on it's own as a wonderful game".

If You've Played And Enjoyed Ocarina Of Time, You'
If you've played and enjoyed Ocarina of Time, you'll know what to expect here. You play as Link and must save the world from the moon that is falling to Earth. Its pretty average fare for a Zelda game - you find maps, swords etc, have to talk to people to discover clues as to what you are meant to do next...etc. The thing is - it all seems too familiar. Majora's Mask just feels tired and is too similar to Ocarina of Time. All of the sound effects have been copied and pasted, even some of the characters have been too. It's all a bit twee as well.
It's still a great adventure as all of the Zelda games are, but it just feels a little tired to be recognised (as some people reckon) as the best game ever made.
God I was so disoppointed when i got majora's mask, it was nothing like its prequal but, how could they possibly beat Ocarina of time. I still believe, for it's time, it's the best game EVER made!
