Hmmm, Quite A Strange Little Place Really! Very Ol
Hmmm, quite a strange little place really! Very old and dated, stuck in the 1970's, and at £12.75 per adult and £10.75 for our three year old very overpriced. The finale for us was the light and organ show which claimed 'Once seen, never forgotten!!'. They weren't wrong! At the end of it there was a 3 song medley devoted to the war, complete with Union flag waving and simulated bombings!!

We Visited About A Week Ago. We Felt It Was Very O
We visited about a week ago. We felt it was very over priced . our children are 2 and 4.The height restrictions seemed unnessary on some of the small rides which was not explained on entry that some they would not be able to use. virtually all the machines in the castle had money slots. What an expensive day out even the ice creams were expensive!!

We Have Visited Watermouth Castle For The Last 3 Y
We have visited Watermouth castle for the last 3 years & have booked to visit again this year. I though that my childre who are now 5 & 7 would be too old for it this year but when I mentioned it they begged me to take them back again this year. I would recommend this to anyone who has younger children. Plenty to do, clean tidy & the staff are very welcoming. It's a lovely day out!

We Had An Apartment At The Watermouth Castle And T
we had an apartment at the Watermouth Castle and therefore not only had a great base for the area but had free access to the castle museum and park everyday, which as it rained for over half the holiday was a godsend. our girls are 4 and 6 and were ideally suited to the amusements - any older and they would probably have been totally bored and we would not have gone if they were any older as several reviews i read before we committed seemed to confirm. This is not suited to the worldly wise kids of today but a more old fashioned type of attraction before your kids are into bratz or gameboys! i really appreciated the 2p and 10p slot machines from yesteryear which they found great and did not compare to the £1 /£2 machines you have today therefore a good 30 or 40 minutes trying them all out cost about £2.50! The gardens were very nice and very clean - alot of attention seemed to have been spent on the little things and that was great.

We Recently Went Whilst Holidaying In Devon. It I
We recently went whilst holidaying in Devon. It is a rather strange and dated place but this is what made it unique! We all loved it with ages of 2yrs, 4yrs, 5 yrs, 9 yrs and adults mixed male and female. There are certainly no white knuckle rides so i could imagine teenagers may not rate it. Mini golf was great and the grounds that the whole place is set in is wonderfully maintained and interesting the whole way round. We probably spent about 5 hours there which was just enough time. Great value for money, would recommend Watermouth Castle.

Myself, husband And 11 Year Old Son Visited Watermo
Myself, husband and 11 year old son visited watermouth castle, and thoroughly enjoyed the 5 hours we spent there, my son could have spent longer. The castle and grounds are very well maintained and easy to get around, there are interactive attractions throughout which kept my son entertained looking for them. There are antique slot machines throughout the grounds which do not cost the earth,no more than 10p a time, the only other expense after the admission fee are for food and drinks, however you can take your own. This attraction is well worth a visit and is quite good value for money.

Myself, husband and 11 year old son visited watermouth castle and thoroughly enjoyed the 5 hours that we spent there, my son could have stayed longer ! the castle and grounds are very well maintained. There are a number of interactive attractions all the way around the castle and grounds, which kept my son amused looking for them. There are also antique slot machines throughout the castle and grounds which hold the attention of kids and adults alike, and cost no more than 10p a time. Once the admission fee has been paid, the only other outlay of any amount is for food and drinks, however you can take your own, there are a number of places throughout the grounds where you can sit down for a picnic. This attraction is well worth a visit and is reasonably good value for money.

I Visited The Park Last Week With My Family And We
I visited the park last week with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The park is geared to children but do make it enjoyable for adults and older teenagers. It covers quite a large area but you do not realise how far you are walking as they have loads of little boxes with mechanical scenes in side as well as talking gnomes. Sounds silly but it keeps the kids excited and our 14 year old even enjoyed hunting for them. Both inside the castle and in the park they have old fashioned arcades and games for the children to play on but nothing cost more than 10p. It is great as the kids can enjoy them without it costing the earth. This park is such good fun and I would recommend it to all. To be fair though teenagers are only likely to enjoy it with younger people and if they are up for a laugh.

A Wonderful Place For The Under 9's. My Daughter L
A wonderful place for the under 9's. My daughter loved Gnome Land and the dancing fountain show. A fun day out and an even better place to stay. The apartments are authentic old castle, but warm and inviting fully equipt, the I could have happily have made a full 4 course meal with use of the items from the kitchen.Heated swimming pool was a major bonus and having the unopened park availble to residents was fantastic even without the rides operational.
The local area has some outstanding area's of natural beauty. Recommend a walk along the coast path to Coombe Martin.
A fun filled week all in all with plenty to do in travelling distance what ever the weather.
