The Philips Prontopro Remote Control Ng Ru980 Revi

The Philips ProntoPro Remote Control NG RU980 review -We have ours looking like star trek at the moment (sad). Love the idea of just pressing one button to turn everything off and turning the room lights on.

I bought a brand new Pronto LI910 RF extender this week (Sept 2010) without any difficulty I had a choice of suppliers.

Also people report good results with Powermid brand extenders working with Prontos - they don't respect the header code so you can't control different RF zones as you can with the Phillips devices.

I can only assume if a 3rd party installer was used they didn't want to look for/recommend alternative sources and the reviewer never bothered to look further themselves. 30 secs with a search engine and a part number....

I Have Had The Prontopro 970 For A Couple Of Years

I have had the ProntoPro 970 for a couple of years and have been pleased with it, but the new ProntoPro 980 is great with full colour TFT screen which you can make your own icons using their unique software you can do so much with it. The Remote itself can control as many devices as you want to or have and you are able to create macro to control different devices all at the touch of a button. one thing with a lot of remotes is that you have to buy a docking station to go with it but with the ProntoPro its all included. finally with home entertainment changing so fast the ProtoPro is future.
