Tasco Luminova 578x 60mm Refractor

The Tasco luminova is a fantastic starter telescope. It provides crystal clear images of craters, ridges and faults. It also comes with a solar projection screen, which is great, but the lenses have to be spotless in order to use this. It has a very high magnification, with fine adjustment looking up and down, comes with a moon filter and barlow lenses. It is fantastic for viewing the moon, and I have had some great views of the cloud belts on Jupiter, and you can even see its moons as tiny white dots. When Mars was close I also got a good view of that. However, it did take a long time to get the planets in view, as whenever you try to focus or readjust, you can very easily loose the object you are viewing if you are on a high magnification. Also unfortunately there is no left/right fine adjustment.
