It Just Works

I bought this device with a few Best Buy gift cards back in high school when it first came out in 2004, and after 8 years of heavy use it has done nothing but do it's job, and do it well.

Since then, I've used it with Nokias, Motorolas, a Sony-Ericsson, two Palm Treos, three iPhones, and a few laptops, and have not had one problem pairing with it. I don't know what kind of magical they used, but even after 8 years it still takes more than a day on standby or 6-8 hours of talk time to drain it.

I wish all electronics were manufactured with this level of quality.

I Will Be Returning The Unit For A Replacement If

I will be returning the unit for a replacement if that has the same problem I will be seeking a refund.

Pity as I really cannot fault the unit apart from the sound problem.

Got A Jabra Bt250v, Paired It With A Razr, Phone H

Got a Jabra BT250V, paired it with a Razr, phone had to be within 1 foot of headset. Paired it with a Samsung, same thing.

Jabra replaced it. The replacement is worse.

I've Had Two Of These Jabra Headsets, The First We

I've had two of these Jabra headsets, the first went back to the supplier within the warranty as the set would not hold the charge. They replaced it for a new one and after 12 months the other has done the same; pretty poor really. I would not recommend these headsets because of the problems I've had with the battery.

The Bt250v Has Excellent Battery Life, It Can Go A

The BT250V has excellent battery life, it can go a couple of days of normal use easily, however it suffers the same problem as lots of headsets, namely that the mic is of poor quality and the person on the other end of the line will struggle to hear you in all but perfect conditions. In addition the 250V seems to have an exceptionally poor range, it will loose connection very easily and needs to within a couple of feet of the phone to get acceptable reception. This means that you need to have the phone in your jacket pocket on the same side of your body as the headset, which is quite poor compared to others I have used. You should have a range of 10 feet or more. The mic also struggles with ambient noise, not as badly as the Jabra JX10, but worse than others I have used. Another gripe is that the headset will disconnect very readily and WILL crash your phone every now and then, but, in my experience, they all do that, and yes I have tried more than a few phones as well as headsets. If anyone finds a wireless phone/headset combo that works 100% of the time let me know!

I've Been Pretty Happy With My Jabra Bt250 Unit.

I've been pretty happy with my Jabra BT250 unit. I have 2 models - the BT200 and the BT250. The units are identical but with different colored ear buds. If you are not wearing it, do not put it in your pocket (I've broken 2 units). I also have the Plantronic unit and it hurts my ear.

The worst thing about Bluetooth is that they look dorky on everyone. I really don't care because having two hands free is a whole lot better than holding up that little phone to your ear.
