Don't Buy This. Unattractive And Badly Designed.
Don't buy this. Unattractive and badly designed.
Mine arrived defective. No response from company. Then turns out they are in Ireland ...which they don't make obvious in adverts...so getting your money back very difficult. They arn't fourthcoming.
Much better and cheaper units..apparently Aldi do one every year at half the price and better.

I Had The Version 1 But I Think These Comments Als
I had the version 1 but I think these comments also apply to the current units.
The trouble with a GPS speed camera detector is that it needs to know which road you are on.
Since this doesnt, you get false alerts from cameras on nearby roads. At speed the unit has to alert you to cameras several hundred yards ahead. This means false alerts from every camera in a band over half a mile wide centered on the road you are on. In urban areas that can mean a false comera warning every 30 seconds or so.
For me this made the unit useless.

My Inforad V1 Lasted Just Over 1 Year Before Faili
My Inforad V1 lasted just over 1 year before failing totally. The manufacturer was totally unhelpful & refused even to reimburse my 2nd-year subscription that I had just taken out. Beware that if something goes wrong after the 12-month warranty you may have to throw it away & buy a more reliable unit from elsewhere.

I've Had My Inforad V1 For Nearly A Month And Am V
I've had my Inforad V1 for nearly a month and am very pleased with it. If you just want warnings of fixed speed cameras without flashy colour screens, etc, then I highly recommend it.
Mine cost £39.99 and came with a year's update subscription, after the first year, it's £24.99 per year (which I think is expensive) or £49.99 for life (which I'll probably do), so you really need to see the overall price as nearly £90 rather than the "on-the-shelf" price of £39.99.
