Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3

I've got the unit for a month, and everything works as it should. As a notice to future buyers: if the screen wont open or the radio wont turn on, check the black ground cable if the connections with be in front of each other. Further device is awesome!! My friends and colleagues are jealous :)

I am shocked and amazed that these guys make such poor quality stereos with super bad service. The software on the stereo had major issues, and their servicee to resolve the problem was extremely bad. I had to open up a dispute claim with paypal to get a refund.

Had Problems with D2216 Eonon unit about 2 months after receiving it, Had to take face off and place back on a few times before it would turn on. Touch screen worked sometimes and sometimes not, the Bluetooth stopped working. So I contacted them over eBay and requested them to email me a shipping label to have this returned and repaired... that was a no go..., So I had to pay 56.00 to ship back to china b4 the 1 year warranty was up,, Radio was returned to me about 4 weeks later and I am Still having Same Issues and to top it off now After returning from china the radio at times only turns off with the ignition key. the radio's power button works intermittently, All my Confections have been check and are good in my vehicle. I contacted them and informed them of my problems only for them to try to twist things around insinuating I did not have this unit hooked up properly; till I informed them in my next email that I had my technician license and I worked for the State of Ohio installing radios for 4 years,,, that shut them up on that issue,,so the next email they came back playing games telling me that the unit has just past the 1 year warranty and they cannot help me. Unreal... lol.... They did not fix this Radio AND WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY 56.00 reimbursement for a wasted shipping cost I spent., now they are playing games telling me that the unit is past 1 year warranty and they cannot help me.

All I wanted was my $56.00 wasted shipping returned to put towards a new Kenwood or Pioneer THAT I WILL BUY FROM LOCAL RADIO STORE IN THE USA !!

DO NOT BUY AN CHEAP CHINA EONON RADIO!!!

DVD playback died almost immediately

Screen is well below average

Touch screen controls are almost useless, the screen is not very sensitive, making it very difficult to tune radio on the move or perform other basic tasks.

Very poor quality overall

Got an Eonon D2208Z, it’s a real good unit, good sound, good video quality and everything was Awesome. I am 100% satisfied with this unit. Will recommend it to my friends ! Good unit For the Price!

This is my third in dash touchscreen cd/dvd player i bought off ebay.They products look good and picture quality are good but they are not made to last.All three of them quit on me.The one i currently i have in my car right now is not playing dvd or cd any more and connection to my ipod is not working properly so i'm force to listen to radio. I am staying away from eonon products and get a real brand name one.its waste of $$$$

i bought a in car lcd off ebay, everything on their end, perfect, however they need to get into touch with DHL Australia. they left my package in a parcel box out the front of a property 15 kilometers from where i live. the package was not signed for, and was sitting there for a week before a good citizen sought me out to deliver it. i am lucky to have received it in good condition as it rained twice in the past week. the package was left on the 29th October and dropped off to me on the 8th November. I'm still very impressed by their great customer service and quick shipping.

it definitely deserves recommend! cheap price with all high end function, bluetooth, ipod, iphone, digital screen, steering wheel, GPS. And still last for long, i've been having it for nearly half year, works fine!

1/3 the money of pioneer but with full funtion of it, even have a better sound quality. Nowadays, every one says "you will get what you pay for", but Eonon give more than you expected.

There aren't enough star choices to explain these units. Secondly, there isn't just "one" 7" ice unit. In fact they have been making them for years and they have many revisions.

I have a e858 or something and it's not total junk. I snagged it for 130 AUD delivered. It's good for that price and well up there in sound quality. In fact you can't really go too wrong with sound quality if you use the RCA outs and then amplify it.

However the ipod connections are terrible. It actually plays blutooth audio much clearer than the ipod stuff. Although the blutooth isn't perfect neither. It's missing a lot of bass and if the sound output is high on the blutooth device (phone etc) then you can hear noise. The sound quality from the ipod actually clips in the SOFTWARE you can hear its sample rate drop as songs become more 'busy'. Regular SD USB and DVD fucntions work very well and screen quality is well and truely average. I don't mean bad average but good average.

The User interface is really what is bad about this unit. The functions are very good and it does everything as expected. If you get a call you can hear it ring and pick it up. If you want to watch a movie, just insert a dvd. If you want to play music off a SD card then go right ahead. But to change functions, like from one MP3 in one folder to another folder, you have to press the screen a onscreen display pops up you use that on screen display to navigate the folders. What you'd intuitively expect is if the folder and songs are already visible, is just to press on them on the screen. Sadly that's impossible.

Their newer interfaces on say the e1303 or whatever it is, are far superior. Not because they're 3d but instead they've fixed some of these basic problems.

Overall the unit is fantastic value for money at only $130 for 7" of Blutooth, DVD, SD, USB, Ipod, MP3, AVI, TV (if you set up the aerial) etc etc etc playability. I couldn't reccommend it more. If you already have a "cheapish" couple of amps to power your speakers then you'll find the sound quality very high.

If nothing else, this is worth nearly the whole $130 on the blutooth functionality because as you probably know that fucntions on most cars cost a lot more. But instead do yourself a favour and get one of these instead of a single din pioneer/alpine/etc system. They pale in comparison in features. They aren't better to use for changing songs (infact they're very comparable).

If you want something that really plays DVD's and AVI's and have good GPS functions. Look elsewhere. I'm not kidding. Go spend your $1300 instead on a headunit that does that if you want to do that. But if you just want to get some music going, then choose this. You'll get those DVD features and you won't mind the bad user interface. Because you'd have the exact same interface except with physical buttons rather than touchscreen on a regular single din head unit. But with that bad UI you will get so much more.

Was it worth it? Well after running it for about 3 months now, its already lasted longer than the pioneer that broke (and is still waiting to be sent back under warranty) and it sounds better. For whatever reason the output from the Pioneer head unit to the sub cuts anything above 130hz. The eonon sends a full signal to the sub. I then use my amplifiers to tune what i hear, by putting on a low pass filter and considering my sub is only small and responsive (for bass lines) i can set it to about 200-250hz and gain a full depth of bass from the sub.

It's quite OK for such cheap price, I've got for more than 1 year now, and it's still works great. everytime I recommend to my friends, they like it too! really deserve our purchase!
