Galaxy Tab 3 Kids

We bought this for my daughter on her birthday as she was in the Samsung recommended age group. Less than 2 weeks and the tablet and case fell apart, leaving us with a faulty product and choking hazard. We are still pursuing a replacement part over 4 months later. The latest, aggressive Samsung UK customer service person has told us we shouldn't have “given the tablet to a child under the age of consent” and “Samsung UK do not replace or refund faulty products for customers”. John Lewis, who are helping us with our claim no longer stock this tablet and told us they have hundreds of Samsung tablets returned to them each month. We've since changed to a V-Tech tablet which we originally discounted but is actually a lot better in terms of quality and age appropriate app availability without constant ads and in-app purchasing that stop her from playing.
