Probably The Best Course Available
Enough material to keep you busy for a year or two. Quite amazing.
Virtually every aspect of the Welsh language is handled in depth.
Probably The Most Comprehensive Course Available
Bought teachme. It arrived about 8 days later. Installation was easy. I put in the access code and got the key, no problem.
Intuitive, did not need to think a lot to figure out what to do.
There is enough material to keep me learning for perhaps a year or two.

The Worst Service I Have Experienced
The worst service I have experienced. They send the wrong product and I want to deliver the wrong item back so I could get my money back. They can not in accordance with their terms of delivery. They write to me that there are several languages on the DVD and I just need to install the language I need. I tried but still does not work.
I ask once again if I could send it back because it does not work and that they had indeed sent the wrong DVD. The reply was no because now I had had opened it. And that I should be able to install it, since even a 12 year old could figure it out.
I write to them that they do not observe the rules of the EU with the supply and retunering , for this I get the answer that I certainly would not go down the road when it knew several around the world that probably should clear the case.
What I ordered was TeachMe! language course.
Teach Me! Celtic Series
In 2004 I purchased the entire Celtic Series of Teach Me! language programs. Focusing on the Irish at the time, I really enjoyed the program. Because of the busyness of life, I left learning languages for a future date. When my daughters and I tried to reload the old programs yesterday, they locked us out and we couldn't access them. I contacted Linguashop.com to get help with the issue. They responded extremely quickly. The easiest solution was for me to upgrade to the newer programs that are now available, which I was wanting to do but couldn't afford if I had to pay the full prices. Since there was a problem with my old programs, the people at Linguashop.com only charged me a very nominal charge for the newer language programs. They were extremely helpful. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new language programs!
I forgot to mention that the people at Linguashop.com also offered me some free downloads so I can get started right away while I wait for the Teach Me! series language programs to arrive. That is very nice of them and above and beyond! I am extremely pleased with their customer service!
The Best Welsh Language Course I've Seen Yet
I've been learning Welsh on my own for years, often with long breaks due to work and such. TeachMe! has been an invaluable part of the process throughout. I started by setting the vocabulary to include essential words only, then expanded to include common words, and am now beginning to incorporate less common words. This configurability is part of what makes TM such a keeper. It's sort of like a child's bed with an expandable frame; it grows with you. By now I'm taking distance courses in Welsh at the U of Wales Trinity Saint David, and TM is still part of my personal learning package.
Broadly speaking, TM is divided into grammar exercises and vocabulary exercises (these two are what I use most). These can be configured as to pace of advancement, frequency of prompts, number of questions per session, etc. There is also an exportable dictionary, a pronunciation practice module, and a set of interactive stories that one can read, listen to, and work on via fill-in-the-blank exercises. A booklet with the stories in it accompanies the package. As an interacive product, TM gives instant feedback on the exercises, of course, and I've found that the information does stick with me over time, especially as I begin to read stories and easy books in Welsh.
I have other language courses, some of them CD-ROM-based. What sets TM apart is its depth. Some of the other courses I've seen are fun and informative, but shallow. One exhausts their possibilities quickly. But as I've said above, I find that TM has grown with me. I've used it quite a lot over a long period of time and have yet to reach a saturation point.
I've just ordered my third copy of TeachMe! so as to keep abreast of developments and upgrades. I wouldn't be without it. I plan to add other Linguashop products to my collection, which already includes about half a dozen TM languages. I'll be coming back for a long time, I'm sure, since there are over 70 languages to choose from.
What I'd like in addition to what's there? A Mac version would be sweet. An iPhone app with sync capabilities would be marvelous, too.
About 5 years ago I was approached by a salesman from a leading language software company who was hawking his very attractive (but expensive) product. When I told him I wasn't in the market and said I had TeachMe! and was well satisfied, he said, "Well, to be honest, I think what you have is the best product out there." Based on my experience, I couldn't disagree.
