Lenovo B51-80 Laptop

I mean for the price this laptop is okay but the sound is really bad so expect to use headphones for this. If you are in a budget, this laptop is fine.

On 12th March this year we purchased a Lenovo B51-80 laptop from CCL Computers of Tong West Yorkshire. After about two months we realised that the battery was not charging and consequently we could only use it on its mains power unit.

We telephoned Lenovo on the UK number and spoke to a gentleman who required us to send him an email with a copy of our receipt from CCL. We received no reply. After telephoning again about a week later the assistant informed us that he required further information because the serial number was not recognised. We then resent the full model number and serial number.

Another week or so went by so we telephoned again only to be told that a replacement battery had been sent to us. Two weeks later no battery had arrived and allowing a few more weeks we again telephoned only to be told that a new battery for this machine was no longer available!! He also stated that he would be arranging that a completely new machine would be issued as no battery was available for ours.

We are, after a month from this information still waiting for this machine. We have been telephoning every two or three days only to be told that the matter was in process and that someone of higher authority will be telephoning us. No such telephone call has been received and every time on telephoning we are told the same thing.

If this is the sort of attitude of Lenovo customers should beware of their appalling under guarantee after sales service.
