this HD is plug and play,USB 3.0,usb powered. laptop found drive easy then i partition the drive in to 2x 500GB easy. Copied over 40 movies with good speeds. Lay flat design size 151.7mmx27mm the only down side is the usb cable is to short. apart from that its fast with no noise what so ever. copied 200GB so far plus watch movies from the drive with no problems. I paid £69 from tesco which is not bad for a usb 3.0 would recommend to any one looking for a lot of space for. films,music,photos,
