It Is A Great Cd Player. Once, Accidentally Water

It is a great cd player. Once, accidentally water got into it, and it survived. It is easy to use and really portable. The only issue about it, is that the sonic stage burner fails when you try to burn cd's with data close to the 80 MB.

I Have Had This Sony D-ne511 Discman For About 3

I have had this Sony D-NE511 discman for about 3 years now. I love it, despite the things I mentioned in bad points. There is a newer version with those improved (afaik DNE 711).

But I don't care about that, I think this player is great value, it has lasted me 3 years.

The Sony D-ne511 Is A Very Cheap Mp3/cd Player, Wh

The Sony D-NE511 is a very cheap mp3/cd player, which is very compact and has a long battery life. The buttons are easy to press and are very useable, and the design is good. I have used the jog dial for a while now and it gives easy access to most songs. The sound quality is good.

I have used the player for a while now and the jog dial is becoming more temperemental, sometimes it switches to the view just by moving the player around. The lcd screen is far too small, and unless you encode the mp3 file with the song name first you will find that tracks are hard to seek, if by the same band. After inserting a new MP3 CD the player scans for tracks, and sometimes this can take a while depending on how many tracks are on the data CD. The software provided with the player is very buggy and I would recommend anyone not to use it, and just burn their files as standard folders with Nero. The power adaptor does not give an option to recharge the battery so one must use four batteries and keep 2 charged up for optimum usage.

Sony Claim Upto 80 Hours Running From A Pair Of St

Sony claim upto 80 hours running from a pair of standard AA batteries for this Sony DNE-511 Portable CD player. From my experience, I'd say YES IT DOES!!

Combine that with the ability to play back MP3 CD's that you've created on your PC and you've got the ideal CD player for taking away on holiday, trips, days out etc.

I paid £80.00 for this model last year but I think it has come down by 20% since then. Thoroughly recommended.

We use a cd player for audio books. Can you stop the CD and then return to the same place on the CD?
